Natural Care is Simmons organic latex mattress line.

People care quite a bit about the environment these days, probably more now than they ever did in the past. One might say this is due to global warming, but it may just be because we've become more conscious of the environment in general.

Simmons has kept up with this by creating a line of mattresses composed of a tree based rubber latex that will return to the earth without effort long after it loses it's usefulness on your bed frame.

Simmons offers three different models. All of these mattresses use the natural rubber latex foam in the top layer and a soy based foam underneath. By using soy they reduce the amount of petroleum needed to make the foam which results in a smaller carbon footprint.

The wood used in the foundation is all from managed forests where the trees are replanted in a cycle.

The metal they use is 80 percent recycled.

The first of the three organic latex mattress models from Simmons is the New Hope. It was created in partnership with JC Penney and is only available in their stores.

This mattress has one inch of natural latex foam on top of six inches of soy based foam, and is able to support your body quite well.

It also has breathable fabrics that will ensure you don't wake up sweating all over. These all natural fabrics are made with a biodegradable yarn called Tencel which contains wood fibers.

Branch River is the next step up from New Hope. Like the first one it promises to provide you with a great night's sleep, and features the same breathable fabrics and supportive foams.

However they included more of the super comfortable latex in the top layer which is the most expensive part of the mattress.

Pike's Peak is the top of the line and an excellent choice for some much needed pampering. It uses Talalay latex which is the highest quality and most expensive natural latex foam available in Simmons bedding.

It has a completely smooth Evenloft Design sleeping surface which is more comfortable because there are no buttons or indentations like you find on most mattresses. This helps to ensure that nothing comes between you and a more restful night.

It does a great job of supporting your body with a soy enhanced foam casing along the borders. This provides great support on the edge, meaning you're not going to sink into the mattress when you sit on the edge to do something.

It also bumps up the Talalay latex foam in the top layer to a full six inches thick which is a lot for any bed. This is truly one of the finest Simmons mattress sets available.

When it comes to the organic latex mattress, Simmons has the right idea. You can have a great night's sleep at a good price and rest easy knowing you aren't harming the environment.

Remember these are very durable as well, so you will be able to enjoy them for years to come. They have a 20 year warranty so that if they prove to be defective you'll get a replacement. This is reassuring to anyone shopping for a new mattress, and you should definitely consider it if you are in the market for one.
