Sealy Posturepedic Mattresses

Designed By The Orthopedic Advisory Board

Sealy Posturepedic mattresses were designed by the Orthopedic Advisory Board - a group of top orthopedic surgeons, researchers and clinicians from leading universities and medical centers.

The group was created and funded by the company in order make the most comfortable mattress possible.

These mattresses are specially made to hold your body in the correct position.

This used to require a compromise between providing proper support and relieving uncomfortable pressure.

Normal mattresses are often uneven and can cause disruptive pressure spots which lead to tossing and turning when sleeping.

They use state of the art materials in order to eliminate the pressure points while still maintaining good posture. The reduction in tossing and tuning throughout the night leads to much more restful sleep.

Sealy Posturepedic mattresses of the innerspring type come in three different price levels which is nice because it lets you decide how much you want to spend.

The Preferred Series

The Preferred Series have 736 coil support count in the Queen size.

It has 3 different zones with foam strategically placed in the hip area to relieve pressure. This allows for a comfortable sleep minus the tossing and turning.

These are a good economical choice.

The Reserve Series

The Reserve Series is a step up having additional memory foam in it.

There is also an increase in the coil support count to 782 (Queen).

It maintains all the features of the Preferred series, including the 3 zone pressure relief inlay and adds more comfort with extra Sealy memory foam.

We recommend these over the Preferred series because they're better built and will probably last longer while still being very inexpensive. If you're looking for a good innerspring mattress and don't have a lot to spend, this is where you should start. The Sealy Posturepedic Reserve Timber Oaks should be perfect for most people. As always we recommend plush over pillowtop because pillowtops cost more and break down faster.

The Signature Series

It combines innerspring, memory foam and a comfortable latex material into the mattresses with a 782 coil support count (Queen).

This provides support for 7 zones, adding memory foam near the head and the knee area while the latex is placed along the hip area.

If you don't mind spending more money this is the best choice - having elements of all three materials present in one mattress. The Sealy Posturepedic Signature Ransden is the way to go in that case.
